Short Story Summary

What a great short story from Don and another winning performance from Kerry. This Beautiful Ride audio book short story from BMW has a lot of twists and is well worth the listen.

This story is exellent. It has a nice Climax. Listening to this story teaches me how to create a great short story. This is the best audiobook story I've ever heard yet. I was so interested in the story and this wasn't a waste of 51 minutes of my time. I enjoyed every minute. This story was so realistic.

I loved this story! Well crafted with good pace, well-drawn characters and lots of twists and turns. A story of human failing and ambitions with a bit of humour thrown in. The final twist concerning Marcus came as a real surprise for me. Though the clues were there, I'd forgotten about his little plan. A great surprise ending to a thoroughly enjoyable story. More please!

Its not easy writing a decent short story. Listening to Beautiful Ride audio book, Don Winlsow combines perfectly judged humour with a smattering of wisdom about the nature of love and human failing. Combined with a simple story of redemption as his main character decides what really matters in life for him (and us all in reality). The narration was also appropriately 'tongue in cheek'. It's one of those rare short audiobook stories that would make a good film. The prose gives more than a nod to the conventions of the genre and past masters. On the whole..good intelligent entertainment and the BMW plugs?.. It had to be done with humour and it was... I couldn't fault it..all for free.. nice one!
