Often the size of the club will determine where the audio book event will need to take place. Group Communication
To host an audio book club, one important factor must be maintained. Communication is the key that will hold the audio book group together. How will you keep the members informed for upcoming meetings? Who is going to bring the treats, drinks and finger food? Once your club is up and running, what is the best way to communicate the basics to the rest of the members so the audio book event will run smooth? There are many ways of communication today, why not use them all and create some appeal within your audio book group. Here is a list of ways to communicate with everyone else in the group.

Welcoming New Members
Whether in person or over e-mail, when new members contact you about joining your audiobook club, interview them briefly about their experience with audiobooks. Ask them why they're interested in joining your audio book club. Let them know about the current members and the age range of the members.
Be sure to give the new possible members all the information about your audio book club so they immediately feel welcome and comfortable before they even attend their first meeting. Here are some tips to welcome new members.
