What Is RSS?

I have been seeing those little orange RSS or XML buttons around the Internet popping up everywhere, but I did not know what they were. So one day I decided to find out what they exactly are...

HEY!
It's "the next big thing" -- you can use it to get newsfeeds from CNN or BBC, as well as just about anything else, including news on upcoming movies, DVD releases, your favorite musician's tour updates, and me... Audio Books for Everyone.

Once you get started, it's like having your favorite parts of the Web come directly to you. No need to go out and check for updates all the time.

No need to Bookmark sites anymore for me!
"RSS" means "Really Simple Syndication." Just another way of saying you you can keep up-to-date within Audio Books for Everyone without having to check the site every day or week.
Whenever I add new pages or update an old one, I release it through RSS.

AND...
I also include all monthly specials we hear about from all the major audio book online sources we support. Maybe a new product that comes by that everyone should know about, you will be informed immediately.
This way you do not need to search through the entire site and hopefully stumble across the new information we post each month. Because Audio Books for Everyone is growing into a large site full of informative tid bits about audio books.

So...YES RSS is simply amazing. Everyone is so busy now a days that we do not have time to search all the sites we find an interest in, including audio-books-for-everyone.com.

No email. No spam

It is so easy to subscribe and unscribe (but why would you), it is just awesome!

How do you get started? It's easy!

Download a free RSS Reader first below. This is special software that reads the RSS feeds from the largest news sites to little old me...

Windows -- RssReader
http://www.rssreader.com/

Mac -- NetNewsWire
http://ranchero.com/netnewswire/

Once you're set up, here's all you have to do...

Right-click (control-click for Mac users) on any orange RSS button on a site, blog or news source that interests you. Start by right-clicking on the orange button below. Then...

copy and paste Select Copy Shortcut ("Copy Link to Clipboard" for Mac, "Copy Link Location" for Firefox browsers), and paste that URL into your RSS Reader.

And that's it! You're subscribed.

Right-click and get started.
